Go Green Basalt

Who we are: A group of Basalt, Colorado citizens encouraging conservation and energy efficiency in our Roaring Fork Valley.

Too tired, busy or cynical to recycle properly but still want to be "a good person?"

Option One (if you have curbside pickup): Keep two "recycling bins." Into the first go glass bottles, cans and plastic bottles. Into the second goes newspaper.

Option Two (if you live near or travel sometimes to Glenwood Springs): Keep two "recycling bins." Into the first go glass bottles, cans and plastic bottles. Into the second goes everything made from trees or plants: cardboard of all sorts, food packaging, newspaper, magazines, office paper, paper bags, books, tissues, paper towels, etc. Recycle the first bin thru curb-side pickup or a local recycle center. Take the second bin to the Glenwood Recycle Center as "compost." Or take it directly to Caca Loco.
