Landfill
Hours: Staffed. Open Mon 6-4; Tues-Fri. 8:30-4; Sat 9-4; Closed Sunday.
Driving up to the landfill you see scrubby terrain with metal parts sticking out of the earth. I took some pictures of the landfill process which was both exciting and disheartening. Here they are:

Directions: From the Glenwood Springs exit on Interstate 70, drive 4.8 miles to the South Canyon turnoff. The landfill and Caca Loco are 1.3 miles to the south.
